TBX2 Firmware Update 1.8.9, CSE Update 2.100.4

October 27, 2018

TBX2 has received its first firmware update. All users should install the update using the latest version of UTE (also just updated). A link to the firmware .zip file is on the TBX2 page, or you can download it from this driect link. The update improves performance in BROWSE mode and when switching tuning presets in POLY or MONO mode, so that when notes are sounding, those notes automatically switch to the new tuning when the preset or tuning table changes. The update also fixes a critical startup problem caused by corrupted global parameter memory due to low battery power. Luckily this issue was only experienced by a few users, and we're glad to say that this update eliminates the problem completely.

CSE has been updated to fix some display bugs, and to add a user-requested feature, the ability to select the program number of MTS Bulk Tuning Dumps sent directly to MIDI via the Action menu. Program number selection can be bypassed pressing the Command key when selecting the menu option.

Please download the updates from the TBX2, UTE and CSE product pages.

Best Regards,
Aaron
