I write this with a heavy heart. On November 7, 2020, Jordan Petkov, was taken from us. As some of you reading this know, the π in Hπ Instruments stands for Petkov as written in Cyrillic (Петков). Jordan made all the circuit boards for TBX1, TBX2/b, and Tonal Plexus keyboards, to name a few. Without Jordan, these things would not have come into existence as they have. No simple statement can do Jordan justice. He was brilliant and generous, dedicated and patient beyond reason. Our correspondence began in 1999, and our work together has been unbroken for the past twenty years. Our first meeting in person was in the summer of 2005, with his family in Varna Bulgaria where he lived and worked, and we spent several summers working together in Varna. Our first commercial product releases through Hπ Instruments began in 2006. Although I would like to share more about this story, I feel unable to do it at this point. We mourn with Jordan's family and pledge to honour him with our continued work. Rest in peace, dear friend.
