We're pleased to announce that the firmware for our world-famous FLASH synthesizer is now open source, available on Github. We have been planning this step for a couple of years now, with various delays holding us back from the release. Preparing the source to be read and compiled by anyone required quite a bit of work, for which I hired the genius behind the firmware (mitxela), and I'm happy with the result. This will allow users to customise the synth for their own needs. A new function has been added to UTE for converting a .bin file to a .uboothex file, so that custom firmware can be shared with other users easily.
