As its name might suggest, Universal Tuning Editor (UTE) is an application which aspires to be the new standard in tuning software. Today's update is a significant step towards that vision. All reported problems have been fixed, and a long list of new features has been added.
The UTE product page has also finally been updated with images to give a clearer idea at a glance of what the application can do.

P.S. I would be remiss not to mention that this round of work included paid feature requests with support and a lot of help beta testing from composer Juhani Nuorvala. And by the way, Nuorvala's microtonal (and Andy Warhol-inspired) opera FLASH FLASH premiered in Helsinki last month, and was very warmly received. I was delighted to learn that the singers trained using microsynth. Juhani reported that he was able to send the musicians tunings which they then loaded into the software, working with connected piano keyboards, and everyone was able to learn their parts this way. So a warm congratulations on the opera and many thanks for all your help, Juhani!
