Made with microsynth …

October 20, 2020

One of the satisfying things about this business is that in some sort of invisible way I get to help other musicians make their art. Usually I just have to trust that idea, since I don't really know what most people do with H-Pi software or hardware, but sometimes I'll get a feedback message with a link or attachment giving me a glimpse into the creative world of someone putting the tools I've made to good use. Here's an example. A couple of weeks ago I got a message from violinist and composer Alexey Kochetkov, who has recently been working with microsynth. He sent me some clips of things he's been experimenting with. With his permission, I've posted one of the clips below. He told me it's from music he's writing for a theatre performance project by Kristin Winters called Ghislaine Gabler being presented at the Bloomsbury Festival (UK).

Check out more of Alexey's work at his website and on Facebook. Nice work and thanks for sharing, Alexey!

Stay well everyone,
Aaron
